Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) is the process where old asphalt and base materials are uniformly pulverized, mixed with cement and water, and then compacted to produce a strong, homogeneous stabilized base course. FDR is a more permanent solution for pavement repair and rehabilitation. Frequently, aggregates either come from distant quarries at great expense or from local sources offering only marginal quality. Using all of the existing roadway materials, it may be the most environmentally friendly construction process available. And, best of all, once RoadWorx finishes the job, it will never have to be done again.
